This is a Junk Removal and Dumpster Rental franchise in Texas, when we started working together they only had 2 franchises and their biggest issue was a high lead cost and being able to measure their metrics to understand what they needed to improve.

Strategy

First thing we looked at was their ad account and how it was setup, we could quickly figure out that they were not using the right campaign structures and best practices using Google Ads to let the Artificial Intelligence do its work and increase efficiency.

Their website was incredibly slow and was constantly breaking so they were wasting money on traffic that didn’t even had a chance to become leads in the first place, while also hurting their ad score tremendously since they had no tracking installed and for Google thats a big no-no, since they can’t match a conversion on your website, they think that customers are having a bad experience therefore making your ads more expensive and all of this makes it harder to scale profitably. 

We fixed all the technical issues and cleaned up their campaigns using their feedback and data.

The results in just 30 days, we cut in half their lead cost. 

But then after measuring their conversion, they were lacking in follow-up with leads and that made the conversion rate very low at just 15-18%, so we implemented a series of automated flows that made it much easier to follow up with clients in the right time until they bought. 

We see this as a common trend in every business, most of the time leads get lost of get too cold because response time is too slow and/or follow up persistence is to little, whenever we implement a system like this we see up to twice as many leads being recovered and sold to as compared to not having an automated lead system. 

The result from implementing this system took them from 15% conversion rate up to 35% conversion rate, now with the same ad spend they were getting twice as many leads and twice as many closes. 

After fixing these holes we were able to scale more comfortably and expanded to new locations, they currently have 5 franchises and are twice as much profitable than before.
